ANTARCTICA
"I thought I would share with you a couple of photo's I took while on holiday in Antarctica. One is of the inside of Ernest Shackleton's hut at Cape Roydes (1908) - if you look closely you will see some of the interesting food these Antarctic explorers survived on!"

DELHI, INDIA

"I thought you might enjoy the attached pic - you'll be pleased to know that One Square Meal supported the team of people who worked day and night during the recent approval of the final report of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change"

FRENCH ALPS

ICELAND

"My wife and I travelled to Iceland in June then over to Norway and Finland. We took 22 One Square Meal packs away with us as we are dedicated OSM fans - the only issue we had was how many of each to take as Ellen loves the Apricot and I am a fan of the Cranberry!

These were our life saver as in Iceland you can't just stop at a corner dairy in the middle of the West Fjords and buy energy giving snacks, more to the point you can't buy ANYTHING because there are no shops!

So we thought we would send this in just for fun - have a crack at pronouncing the place name in the sign, have fun and enjoy."

KILAMANJARO, TANZANIA

MACHU PICCHU, PERU

"Me on the very top of Machu Picchu mountain with an OSM, it's a one hour climb from the ruins, and only about 50 people do the climb each day (2000 people visit the ruins). I loved it so much up there that I climbed it on both the days we were there... And a young Peruvian Boy with one..."

MATTERHORN, SWITZERLAND

"After introducing many overseas travellers to One Square Meal, I got the opportunity to travel myself and routinely packed several bars for the airplane, breakfast and for a quick snack if other food was unavailable due to timeclocks being off, etc. I used them all and found them most valuable out on the day treks we took. You just can't beat the nutrition per weight ratio in your pack! Here I am at the Matterhorn! This OSM traveled from the Ruakaka SuperValue to Zurich then to Montreux and on to Zermatt and found its way into my daypack to be eaten with such a great view. It was very welcome and saw me through a ride to the Glacier Paradise on the highest mountain lift in the world (a scary but scenic aerial cable car). Thanks much for this fantastic product!"

MONGOLIA
"A trip to Mongolia visiting World Vision projects saw us traveling 2000km on rough 4WD tracks where we stayed with Nomadic families in their Gers. One Square Meals were received with delight by the kids and intrigue by the adults - with the odd one being a great supplement to the traditional Mongolian tucker for us!"

- Guy, Suzanne and Shey Pope-Mayell

MT BLANC, FRANCE

"Thought you might like to know that One Square Meal has been to the top of Europe on the summit of Mt Blanc - the highest peak in Western Europe at 4810 metres! We climbed Mt Blanc yesterday and One Square Meal was instrumental to our success. 1 1/2 OSM's each got me and my climbing partner (David Humm) to the summit in eight hours in cold and windy conditions. A testament to the nutritional power of the bar!!"

- Stewart Gibbon

MT DEMOCRAT, COLORADO, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA

"Here's a cool pic I took for One Square Meal on the top of Mt Democrat in Colorado when I climbed it - it's 14,148ft!!!"

NAENAE, WELLINGTON, NEW ZEALAND
At Billy Graham's Boxing Academy in Naenae, One Square Meals are one of the highlights of the boy's training week. Donated to the Academy through the Cookie Time Charitable Trust, Billy provides a One Square Meal to his boys when they finish training - in many cases the bars are the only truly nutritional thing his academy boys eat in a whole week!

PATAGONIA, SOUTH AMERICA
"Not sure if you knew what happens to some of your bars - here they are at an overnight bivy on the north ridge of Mt Fitzroy Patagonian ice cap, also at another bivy on the Brenna Ridge, Mt Gulliemet. After 37 hours of non stop climbing the bars still taste great :-)  We took a box over and it was definitely the best energy food we had on the trip. Thanks."

RABBIT PASS, WANAKA, NEW ZEALAND

"Hey guys, this photo was taken around Rabbit Pass, Wanaka in the South Island. Jane and I live in Brisbane and make an annual trip back to New Zealand. We usually buy about 15 bars for a week tramp. Nice work guys I will be sending for a box or two very soon. Adventure sport is growing here and there is a real need for a bar like One Square Meal."
