What do you need on a South Westland riverbank when whitebaiting?

Knowledge, luck, good sea conditions, luck and luck... weather we can deal with, flagging energy we cannot. One Square Meal has replaced muesli bars here (they're generally waaay too sweet and temporary, whereas One Square Meal feels good in the belly, does good in the body... besides, it comes in a double-sealed packet which fits the chest pocket of both my neoprene and light waders! And I can *share* it if I see someone starving to death in Okarito! (Sorry, in-joke.)

I do a lot of driving round this motu. I always carry water, and packet soups. Having something substantial, easy on the tastebuds, munchable while at the wheel, is a real help on the road.
