In your Nutrition Information table you have “n/a” in the column for trans, polyunsaturated and monounsaturated fats. Why do you give the % DI figures for everything except these fats?

Apart from total fat and saturated fat, there are no RDI reference values specified for other types of fat for use when stating % Daily Intake figures on labels in New Zealand. For this reason we have shown by weight how much polyunsaturated and monounsaturated fat there is in One Square Meal (trans is absent) but have ‘n/a’ (not available) in the %DI column of the Nutritional Information Panel on the pack.

While there are no RDI’s for poly and mono-unsaturated fatty acids, we can assure you that One Square Meal has been designed to deliver the right amount and ratio of these fats. The levels are based on the New Zealand Nutrition Taskforce recommendations for the proportions of total energy that should be supplied by these fatty acids, by saturated fatty acids and total fat. One Square Meal meets all these recommendations.
