THE CONCEPT
We set out to achieve nutritional perfection - a delicious tasting food with the key nutrients all in balance, as wholesome and natural as possible. We started with the nutritional intakes recommended by the experts at Food Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ), divided the daily figures by three to give the ideal 'per meal' intake (33.3% RDI), and designed One Square Meal specifically to that. TRIPLE WIN FOR ONE SQUARE MEAL
One Square Meal was the winner of three awards, including the prestigious Institute Food Science and Technology Research and Development award, at the 2006 Massey University Food Awards.
The Awards are a bi-annual event to honour the best New Zealand has to offer in Food Technology, and showcases excellence in innovation, presentation and creativity. One Square Meal also won the Speciality Products and Food Safety Awards. |

The Awards recognise clear company leaders who inspire others to meet their standards of excellence. A panel of 13 expert judges from a range of disciplines, including nutrition, food technology, food research, design and food styling were lead by Nick Baylis, Chief Judge and CEO of M&C Saatchi. |
