One Square Meal has won three awards, including the prestigious Institute Food Science and Technology Research and Development award, at the 2006 Massey University Food Awards, attended by Prime Minister Helen Clark.

The Awards are a bi-annual event to honour the best New Zealand has to offer in Food Technology, and showcases excellence in innovation, presentation and creativity. One Square Meal also won the Speciality Products and Food Safety Awards.

The Awards recognise clear company leaders who inspire others to meet their standards of excellence. A panel of 13 expert judges from a range of disciplines, including nutrition, food technology, food research, design and food styling were lead by Nick Baylis, chief judge and CEO of M&C Saatchi.
